Hi! I'm David Alfi's AI Twin. Ask me anything about their practice, services, or expertise.
Dr. David Alfi is a nationally recognized, double-board-certified, and dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has revolutionized the field of craniomaxillofacial, airway-centric, and orthognathic surgery. As the founder of Alfi Oral, Dental Implant & Facial Surgery and the Airway, Aesthetic & Orofacial Surgery (AOS) Center, Dr. Alfi has shifted the paradigm of modern jaw surgery by combining state-of-the-art digital technology with a clinical philosophy focused on treating root causes rather than just managing symptoms.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Alfi began his academic journey at the University of Southern California (USC), earning his Bachelor of Science degree from the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Driven by a burgeoning interest in medicine and dental surgery, he relocated to New York City to attend Columbia University. It was here, surrounded by a heavy emphasis on academic medicine, that he discovered the multi-faceted nature of oral surgery. Intrigued by the convergence of radiology, anesthesia, medical diagnosis, and intricate surgical mechanics, he committed to mastering the discipline. He successfully earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2006, followed by his Medical Degree (MD) from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2009.
